Simple Future Tense

The Use

The simple future tense is used when something will happen in the future.


The Rule/Form (active-voice)

Positive Sentence Structure:
Subject + will + Verb + Object + adverb (if necessary). Example: I will study English the next week.

Negative Sentence Structure:
Subject + will + not + Verb + Object + adverb (if necessary). Example: I will not study English next week.

Question Structure:
Will + Subject + Verb + Object + Adverb (if necessary) + etc… +?. Example: Will you study English tomorrow? Maybe.

Tag Question Structure:
Will + not (if the sentence was positive ) + pronoun +?. Example: Next week, I will study English, will not I? Hmmm.


The Rule/Form ( passive-voice )

Positive Sentence Structure:
Object+ will + be + verb ( past participle ). Example: The homework will be done after two days.

Negative Sentence Structure:
Object+ will + not + be + verb ( past participle ). Example: The homework will not be done after two days.

Question Sentence Structure:
will + Object +  be + verb ( past participle ) +?. Example: Will the homework be done? yes, if you aren't lazy.

Tag Question Structure:
will + not ( if the sentence was positive ) + pronoun + ?. Example: The homework will be done, will it? yes, of course.

In the future,
tomorrow,
next week,
next month,
next year,
next (any time),
a day after,
a week after,
a month after a,
year after,
(any time / any in-coming event)2070/1/1-10:10am (as an example).
